Spring is a season of new beginnings. As we see the new life growing around us, we expect to feel new energy, enthusiasm and inspiration.
This is not always the case, unfortunately. We are often a bit lazy after winter, and ever changing spring weather may easily throw us out of balance. In such situation we might feel frustrated, moody, stuck in life, uncertain, not able to make firm decisions, lacking energy and motivation and not willing to adapt to changes. What to do to feel more energetic in the spring then? According to oriental medicine, we need to balance Liver and Gall Bladder meridians. We may do it by:
What if I don't have the energy to start? Restorative and yin yoga will help :). Both styles are slow and gentle, so big effort is not required :). Target positions are twists and stretches of the side body. If you have some experience in yoga, feel free to try the below sequences by yourself.
